The New Year
pet picture style.
Gold thrown out of focus against near-black. It is the one picture in the pack you can still send on the thirty-first, when everything else in it has quietly expired.
PetPhotos creates it from photos you already have — your own pictures guide the result, so it still looks like your animal. It's part of the Holiday pack at $14.99. Your gallery is ready in about 25 minutes.

What the New Year look actually is.
How they're presented
Lit warm against the dark, close, with the shadows left deep.
What's behind them
Near-black, scattered with golden light points and nothing else.
How it's lit
A warm key from one side; the rest of the frame allowed to fall away.
How it's framed
Tight on the head and chest, with the dark doing the rest.
You don't need to stage any of this, and you don't need to get the animal to sit still for it. The setting, the light and the framing are part of the style — you upload ordinary photos.
